Our goal is to prepare motivated men and women in the field of men's hair and skin care at an Affordable Tuition Rate! The curriculum is designed for Texas State Certification as Barber, Technician, or Instructor, depending on the individual's needs. We offer certified training in:

Experienced individuals may also enroll for a refersher training, or to learn the latest trends in men's hair care.

Gloria Blackwell

Barber Teacher 

Gloria is a native San Antonian.  After attending both Beauty and Barber College, she went on to pursue her teacher's career in barbering.

Gloria has owned three salons in her 35 year career of which she currently proprietor and operating as the owner of "Gloria's Hair Design." As off May 2014, she sold the salon to devote more time to instructing at Gloria's Barber College.  Also  her daugther Gloria Jean Blackwell is now working as an intructor at Gloria's Barber College.  She is the only Mexican American woman that holds a Barber Teacher's license in San Antonio. She has 6 years of  experience in Beauty and Barbering as a state examiner for the Barber Board (PSI) which inspired her to open "Gloria's Barber College" in the Fall of 2010.
